Since 2020, DESAN has conducted the annual nationwide UWV Employer Survey on vacancies and staff recruitment. DESAN provides services including sampling, data collection—mainly by telephone and partly online—and weighting.
The survey included 2,790 employers in 2020, 3,061 in 2021 and 4,547 in 2022.
Based on the data, UWV published a general report on employers’ experiences. Its conclusion that employers were adjusting job requirements in the competition for staff was covered by outlets including NOS.
